We work with people who help someone find care or support. You can ask us questions and take one step at a time.
You do not need to know which service is right before you contact us. Tell us what you are coordinating, what matters to the person and what decision needs to be made next.
We can talk with you about care at home, adult services and Cameron House.
We work most often in Romford, Hornchurch, Rainham. We are also active in Upminster and Harold Hill. Other represented areas are Harold Wood, Gidea Park, Collier Row, Elm Park, Aveley. This does not show people's addresses or promise that a care worker is available now.
The current rate is £34.50 per hour, per care worker. On bank holidays, the rate is £69.00 per hour, per care worker. We confirm the care plan, availability and cost before care starts.
Share what you know about the person's needs, wishes, current arrangements, risks, communication needs, location, timescale and funding route. It is fine if some information is not available yet.
Check that the person has consented to the enquiry where appropriate. Tell us what matters to them.
Do not send confidential documents by ordinary email. Use the secure referral pathway if you need to share supporting documents through private storage.
You can check our published CQC, Ofsted and Companies House information. Carly Coffey is the registered manager for care services. The full website shows the provider numbers, location records and latest published judgements.
We will not assume how you communicate. We will ask you what works best for you.
You might use pictures, symbols or a communication board or book. You might use PECS, which is a specific system for exchanging pictures. You might use Makaton signs and symbols with speech.
You might use speech, gestures, pointing or eye pointing. You might use AAC. AAC means tools or devices that help you communicate.
You might use Easy Read or BSL, which means British Sign Language. You can ask for an interpreter or advocate. Family or a supporter can be involved if you want.
We will ask you. We will listen to your answer. You can say no. You can change your mind.
There is no pressure to make a decision. We will listen and help you find the next step.
